Bird Licenses Update from Natural England
Friday 31/01/2020
You can now apply to control wild birds, including the Lesser Black-Backed gull and Herring Gull with the new A08 license.
Due to their population declines they had be previously excluded from the general licenses that were updated last year. However Natural England have assessed these species and have determined that their control under this license will be sustainable.
The A08 license means that you can apply to control wild birds, including the lesser black-backed gull and herring gull to prevent disease or agricultural damage, conserve plants and animals or protect public health and safety.
Applications should be made before 15 March 2020 where possible
