PestFix is a member of the British Pest Control Association (BPCA)
The BPCA is a trade body representing the public health pest control sector.
The BPCA is a not for profit organisation with 600+ member organistations involved in the pest control sector, representing over 7,000 individuals.
PestFix is also a member of the BPCA Manufacturing and Distribution Committee.
This BPCA committee represents the interests of the manufacturing and distribution sector of the public health pest control industry, with the aim of influencing key decision makers in Government on legislative proposals in the best interests of the membership and the wider pest control market sector.
BPCA Regional Training Forums
PestFix regularly sponsors BPCA Regional Training Forums in support of Continuing Professional Development programmes for the industry.
PestFix staff will present modules of the RTF’s which are open for attendance by both members and non-members (for a small fee).
How does our BPCA membership benefit you, the PestFix customer?
BPCA membership is for the professional company working in the pest control industry. Membership of the BPCA is an integral part of PestFix’s Continued Professional Development program for its front line staff.
All of PestFix’s sales and customer support staff are registered on the Basis Prompt CPD scheme. BPCA membership is regarded as the mark of a professional business and there is no other equivalent to BPCA membership within the whole of the UK.
To gain and maintain membership of the BPCA PestFix has to demonstrate:
- That PestFix holds insurances relevant to our business' exposure to risk
- That PestFix is financially stable (assessed via a credit check to ensure assets exceed liabilities)
- PestFix ensures that its field and telesales staff who are engaged in offering advice to customers are trained and can demonstrate this through Continuing Professional Development and training records
- All products manufactured or sold by PestFix should comply with the relevant current, statutory and applicable standards
- PestFix must have available (where appropriate) technical support
- PestFix is to be in possession of a policy statement/procedure on customer care/deliveries
- PestFix is (where appropriate) to be in possession of a waste management policy in compliance with national and local regulations
- PestFix is to provide evidence of any of the above, on request, within 30 days
- PestFix to indicate whether they have an environmental policy statement to include the companies recycling policy for manufacturing, packaging and products and energy saving policy.
This membership criteria ensures that you, the customer can enjoy a professional, effective and safe service from the PestFix team every time you use our products and services.
