PestFix is a Company Member of the National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA)
The NPTA is an organisation run by pest control technicians, for the benefit of other pest control technicians and their customers.

The NPTA works with other similar organisations, such as the BPCA and the CIEH, to try to positively influence Government thinking on key issues affecting the industry and the national interest.
The association works with UK Government Departments and other NGOs whose work affects the pest control industry, as well as international pest control organisations.
The NPTA works closely with PestFix as well as other major manufacturers of pest control products, helping them keep our Members informed of the latest advances in pest control technology.
The NPTA endeavours to keep its Members informed of changes in the industry through their quarterly magazine called 'Today's Technician' and through its website. For more information on industry information and media resources click here.
The NPTA runs many training and social events around the country, including the immensely popular annual 'PestTech' conference and exhibition. PestFix regularly sponsors the NPTA’s “On the Road” regional training events to help support the industries commitment to Continuing Professional Development attendees can gain valuable knowledge and CPD points are awarded for attendance which is open to members and non-members, for a small fee.
The NPTA Aims
- To promote a professional approach to Pest Control
- To update members on all aspects relating to the profession
- To further all aspects of training
- To emphasise and promote awareness amongst members
- To emphasise environmental consideration with regard to toxic substances
- To promote the control of all public health pests
- To represent the interests and opinions of the UK Pest Control Industry to the general public, government and other industries
- To promote NPTA members to potential customers
- To promote NPTA members to other industries
The NPTA’s Objectives include
- To develop a nationally known organisation that represents all those who are employed within the pest control industry
- To create a database of information, working practices including documentation and a standard form service
- To develop and promote the training of Pest Control Technicians to make them aware of their everyday working responsibilities
- To liaise with other bodies to promote one basic introductory level for all Pest Control Technicians and to help develop, support and promote the RSPH Level 3 Diploma in Pest Management
- To work together with other Associations and Companies who are both directly or indirectly involved in the pest control industry for the benefit of all
- To represent our Membership at the highest levels both within industry and central government.
