Rodenticide grain or pellet sachets contain rat poison infused cereals and are considered a superior method of delivering cereal-based rodenticide over loose grain or pellets.
Rat and mouse poison sachets have four major benefits over loose grain rat poison:
- Sachets contain the bait and reduce the risk of spillage and poisoning of non-target species
- The sachet wrapper keeps the bait fresher and more palatable to the rodents for longer
- Sachets are provided in smaller units making it easy & economical to dose bait stations accurately
- The plastic wrapper gets eaten through by the rodent, making it easy to spot activity even when only a tiny quantity has been consumed
Rat poison sachets are suitable for use with both rats and mice, both indoors and outdoors and contain the same potency of active ingredient as all of our other poisons
Rat poison sachets are manufactured using several types of active ingredient including: Difenacoum, Bromadiolone and Alphachloralose (the latter being for mice only) the first two are second generation, multi-feed anti-coagulants, alphachloralose is a hypothermic recation active micro encapsulated on the grain or pellet for mouse control only.
