The Daddi Long Legs is a spider-shaped circular deterrent that has a freely rotating head with long Stainless Steel wires which bounce in the wind or when a bird comes into contact with it.

2.5m Daddi Long legs are not recommended for coastal roofs or areas with high winds as the arms may splay in the wind and not provide full protection over the area they are installed to cover

Used for surfaces that require regular access for maintenance, such as silo tops, air conditioning units, and ventilation plant; also for awkward shapes such as streetlights and on boats where fast removal is a key requirement.

We would not recommend installing the 2.5m Daddi Long Legs (DL104) in areas which regularly experience strong winds as the wind can cause the stainless steel wires to swing around too greatly and potentially break.
