Grade 304 stainless steel 6mm diameter rod
Rods must be countersunk to a minimum depth of 50mm into wall behind ledge using a 6mm drill bit
Holes are set at 65mm centres
Lengths available:
- 320mm - 4 hole
- 385mm - 5 hole
- 450mm - 6 hole
- 515mm - 7 hole
- 580mm - 8 hole
For use on multiple-run pigeon wire installations on ledges of 270mm width and over
For optimal protection fix the rods into the wall at a minimum 30 degree angle above the ledge.
No part of the rod should be less than 90mm above the surface to be protected
Where possible allow for a 10mm overhang for the outer tip of the drilled rod beyond the edge of the ledge for maximum protection
Ideal for use on low to medium pressure bird infestations.
This system is not recommended for use in controlling high pressure bird infestations
It is recommended that the system is counter-tensioned at each end of a run of rods to prevent the system sagging
