Glue Trap (Offences) Act update

Defra have announced that Natural England will be responsible for the Glue Trap (Offences) Act and will be putting in place a licensing regime in July 2024

The use of rodent glue boards has already been banned in Wales, and Scottish government are still in discussions regarding the future of glue boards in Scotland. The BPCA continues to lobby for a licensing scheme over a complete ban in Scotland

PestFix withdrew the sales of rodent glue boards to the public over a year ago. This year we introduced an online training course in the professional use of glue boards to ensure professionals are competent in their use.
