MAGNETO® Magnetic Bird Deterrent Now Available from PestFix

We’re expanding our professional bird control range with MAGNETO®, a magnetic bird deterrent system that uses controlled, low-intensity magnetic pulses to discourage birds from landing in protected areas.

MAGNETO will be on display at PestTech 2026 on 4 November, giving visitors the chance to see the system in action and learn more about how the technology works.

How does MAGNETO work?

Birds use the Earth’s magnetic field as part of their natural navigation. MAGNETO creates low-frequency magnetic pulses that temporarily interfere with this ability, discouraging birds from landing in the protected area without causing them harm.

The system operates silently and does not create a visible physical barrier, making it a discreet option for a range of bird control applications.

Designed for long-term use, MAGNETO combines low power consumption with minimal maintenance requirements. Its rugged, modular construction also makes it suitable for demanding environments.

Key technical features include:

• Coverage of up to 500 linear metres per device


• ≤10W power consumption


• IP67 protection


• Operating temperature from -20°C to +60°C


• Scalable for larger areas


• Silent operation

We’ll be showcasing MAGNETO throughout PestTech, so visitors can get a closer look at the system and understand how it can be used as part of a bird management programme.

Joining the PestFix team on Stand A7 will be Angelos Spiliotis, Commercial Director at Avianova, the company behind MAGNETO. Angelos will be available to answer technical questions about the technology and its applications.
