SAKARAT BRODIFACOUM GEL is a ready-to-use gel bait in tube for the control of house mice (Mus musculus) and brown rats (Rattus norvegicus) at all development stages, containing a highly potent compound, brodifacoum, a single-feed, second-generation anticoagulant active ingredient.
Thanks to its mode of action, the rodents’ death occurs without rousing suspicion towards the bait by the other members of the colony. SAKARAT BRODIFACOUM GEL contains a mixture of food origin components palatable for the above-mentioned species. This formulation has been studied to optimize its use under a wide temperature range as it maintains its physical and chemical characteristics unchanged once applied.
Thanks to these features, the gel is indicated to be used in and around buildings of civil, industrial and rural environments. In particular in rural and zootechnical environments it is recommended to place bait points in elevated areas along the rodents walkways.
SAKARAT BRODIFACOUM GEL incorporates a bittering agent (Denatonium Benzoate) to help prevent human consumption.
Application method: ready-to-use bait to be used in tamper-resistant bait stations or in covered and protected baiting points
nsert the tube inside the caulking gun; cut a hole in the conical tip of the tube and insert the nozzle. Cut the nozzle above the screw thread taking care not to damage the thread itself, then dispense the product. Once finished, screw the protecting cap and loosen the pressure of the caulking gun in order to prevent loss of the product. Keep the tube upside down. Store away from heat.
APPLICATION RATES AND FREQUENCY:
For the control of house mice (Mus musculus) - indoor and outdoor around buildings uses:
- High infestation: 50 g of bait per baiting point spaced 2m apart
- Low infestation: 50 g of bait per baiting point spaced 5m apart
For the control of brown rats (Rattus norvegicus) - indoor and outdoor around buildings uses:
- High infestation: 100 g of bait per baiting point spaced 5m apart
- Low infestation: 100 g of bait per baiting point spaced 10m apart
