COURSE DESCRIPTION

BRAND NEW FOR 2025 . A Very hands on course which looks at how to keep pests out of your customers premises. Candidates will learn about a whole range of products, and get the opportunity to try products that they may have never used before, as well as some they may have used previously Assessment of the practical elements, will provide proof of competence, which will lead to candidates gaining their certificate and CPD Points Points TBC

COURSE CONTENT

The morning session looks at basic Rodent biology and behaviour and explains why they are keen to come into our buildings and how they often get in.

We then look at a range of products designed to keep them out and put them to practical use

In the afternoon, we look at pigeons, and some other birds, learning why they want to come into our buildings and the problems they cause

We finish the afternoon, with hands on practice of netting installation and repairs

Booking / Cancellation Policy

PestFix reserve the right to cancel or alter the date of any course should an insufficient number of bookings be received. Should a course be cancelled PestFix will notify you of this action and will offer you a refund of the course fee you have paid or offer an alternative date / location for the same course. PestFix will not be held liable for any other costs incurred.

All course bookings require payment upfront no later than 5 weeks prior to the date of the course. Payments will be accepted in the form of card payment over the telephone, BACS transfer or invoice on account.

Should you wish to cancel your booking you must inform PestFix in writing of your intention. The following notice periods apply:

• Greater than 5 weeks prior to course start date no cancellation fee
• Between 2 and 5 weeks prior to course start date cancellation fee of 50% of course cost applies
• Less than 2 weeks prior to course start cancellation of 100% of course cost applies.
