COURSE DESCRIPTION

In depth course giving candidates a greater understanding of pesticide products The course covers, insecticides, rodenticides and other biocides used in our industry Upon completion of this course candidates will earn 10 CPD points with Basis PROMPT and 10.75 CPD points with BPCA Registered

COURSE CONTENT

The course focuses on pesticides used for the protection of public health.

Candidates will learn about about the laws relating to pesticides, and how to ensure we use them as safely as possible (COSHH)

Candidates will learn about the different active ingredients and how they work, as well as the pros and cons of all the different formulations

During the course, candidates will be discussing several scenarios, including discussing their real life experiences. We will be discussing how and why candidates choose the products they use.

Booking / Cancellation Policy

PestFix reserve the right to cancel or alter the date of any course should an insufficient number of bookings be received. Should a course be cancelled PestFix will notify you of this action and will offer you a refund of the course fee you have paid or offer an alternative date / location for the same course. PestFix will not be held liable for any other costs incurred.

All course bookings require payment upfront no later than 5 weeks prior to the date of the course. Payments will be accepted in the form of card payment over the telephone, BACS transfer or invoice on account.

Should you wish to cancel your booking you must inform PestFix in writing of your intention. The following notice periods apply:

• Greater than 5 weeks prior to course start date no cancellation fee
• Between 2 and 5 weeks prior to course start date cancellation fee of 50% of course cost applies
• Less than 2 weeks prior to course start cancellation of 100% of course cost applies.
