PestTech 2024: A Day with Team PestFix at MK Arena

Team PestFix had an incredible time at PestTech 2024, hosted at the MK Arena in Milton Keynes! This event brought together pest control technicians from across the country, giving us a chance to showcase our latest products, connect with industry peers, and host some fun activities for all attendees.

Setting Up and Preparing for the Big Day

We arrived on Tuesday to set up our stand, aiming to create an interactive and engaging experience for everyone who stopped by. This year, we focused on rodent proofing. Our stand featured some of our latest products, including our highly sought-after mesh, which was available to buy on the stand! Freebies and Fun with Rupert the Rat

We made sure to come prepared with some fun freebies for everyone who stopped by. Our fluffy rat figures and PestFix-branded Sharpie pens were a big hit, with people eagerly grabbing them as a reminder of their visit. One of the biggest highlights was our PestFix selfie frame where attendees loved posing with Rupert the Rat. It was great to see so many smiling faces joining in the fun!

Our Rodent Proofing Competition

At the heart of our stand was the rodent proofing competition, and it didn’t disappoint! We created a wall that replicated some of the most common rodent proofing issues (not to scale, of course) to challenge attendees’ knowledge and skills.

The rules were simple: competitors selected from a variety of proofing products laid out on a table and worked to solve each problem. The products included:

• Soudal Repair Express Cement Grey


• Door Brush Strips


• Raxit RTU Rodent Proof Seals


• Aluminium Rodent Proofing Sheets

It was exciting to watch participants showcase their rodent proofing expertise while getting hands-on with our products. The lucky winner of the competition walked away with a prize hamper worth over £250 in rodent proofing essentials. Congratulations to Gary from Town & Country Pest Control!
