Combined Bird Course

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This 2 day course combines the best of our Practical Bird Control course and our Advanced bird control Course

A practical learning course focusing on the hands elements involved with bird control

Candidates will learn various methods of control, and where best to use them.

Practical assignments will be completed during the course

Assessment of these elements, will provide proof of competence, which will lead to candidates earning

CPD points are to be confirmed, but will be at least., 10 CPD points with Basis PROMPT and 13 CPD points with BPCA Registered

COURSE CONTENT

Candidates will get hands on experience of post and wire, netting, and installation of the Bird Shock system

In addition candidates will learn:

Legislation

Species identification

Understanding pressure of infestation

How to cost up a job

There will also be a short informal test at the end of the course.

Booking / Cancellation Policy

PestFix reserve the right to cancel or alter the date of any course should an insufficient number of bookings be received. Should a course be cancelled PestFix will notify you of this action and will offer you a refund of the course fee you have paid or offer an alternative date / location for the same course. PestFix will not be held liable for any other costs incurred.

All course bookings require payment upfront no later than 5 weeks prior to the date of the course. Payments will be accepted in the form of card payment over the telephone, BACS transfer or invoice on account.

Should you wish to cancel your booking you must inform PestFix in writing of your intention. The following notice periods apply:

• Greater than 5 weeks prior to course start date no cancellation fee
• Between 2 and 5 weeks prior to course start date cancellation fee of 50% of course cost applies
• Less than 2 weeks prior to course start cancellation of 100% of course cost applies.
