1. Review safety precautions in the provided instructions.
2. Download the TrapSensor mobile app and create a user account. Alternatively, register on the TrapSensor website using your computer.
3. Log into your account and register the new TrapSensor device to link it to your profile.
4. Insert four AAA lithium batteries (not included) into the device for optimal performance and longer life.
5. Arm the trap by engaging the mechanism. A beep will confirm the metal bar is properly positioned.
6. Allow the device up to 12 minutes during the first setup to connect to available networks. The trap's status will display in your account as “Ready” or “Activated.
7. Receive notifications on your phone when the trap is triggered. After emptying and resetting the trap, its status will update to “Ready” in your app.
