Deterring Pigeons from a Large Logistics Warehouse

A large logistics warehouse was experiencing persistent problems with hundreds of pigeons gathering on its roof, creating ongoing hygiene and maintenance concerns. The scale of the site and the number of birds meant an effective solution was needed to discourage them from returning.

Installing MAGNETO across the warehouse roof

Four MAGNETO units were strategically positioned across the large rooftop area to provide the required coverage.

The system uses controlled, low-intensity magnetic pulses to temporarily interfere with birds' natural navigation, discouraging them from landing within the protected area.

MAGNETO has a modular design, allowing multiple units to be used where greater coverage is required. This made it possible to configure the system around the size and requirements of the warehouse roof.

What happened after installation?

According to Avianova, the change was seen within days. Pigeons stopped occupying the warehouse roof and moved away from the protected area.
