Rodenticide Certification New Changes from Jan 2026

From January 1st 2026, new rules will apply to anyone purchasing professional rodenticides.

You must either:

Hold a relevant qualification (less than 5 years old). See Think Wildlife Training & Certification for a list of valid qualifications.

OR

Have active membership of a CRRU UK–approved CPD Scheme, such as BPCA Registered or BASIS PROMPT. To maintain your membership, you must have acquired the full amount of points needed in 2025.

If you need to collect points, come and join us at the PestFix Academy
in Chichester. Alternatively, if you have 6 or more candidates, our trainer can come to you.

If you need a current qualification, we are offering a one-day RSPH Level 2 Safe Use of Rodenticide course on 29th October and 11th December. Extra dates can be added if there is demand.

Alternatively, if you are ready to take the next step and complete your RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management, we are running an intensive 5-day course during the week commencing 1st December.
