Advanced laser technology

Birds perceive the Agrilaser Handheld’s laser spot as an approaching physical danger. Once they perceive the laser spot, they fly away in search of safer ground and, in contrast to conventional methods of bird deterrence, there will be no habituation. After consistent use of the Agrilaser Handheld, birds will perceive the controlled area as unsafe and will not return.

Bird Control Group dedicated years of research to develop the ultimate laser beam. This goal was achieved through the application of a combination of highly precise optics, filtering and light frequencies. The result is exceptional performance in bird repelling over long distances.

Red dot sight

To make operation over long distances more accurate and safe, the Agrilaser Handheld is equipped with a red dot sight. The sight makes it possible to accurately aim the Agrilaser Handheld at a desired target before activating the laser.

Key lock system

To prevent unauthorized use of the equipment, the Agrilaser Handheld is equipped with a key lock system.

Rugged design

The Agrilaser Handheld has a robust design to ensure effectiveness in demanding situations. The shockproof cover protects the laser from damage from falls and dust exposure. Therefore, the laser can be used in a wide variety of environments.

Handheld and Handheld 500

The Agrilaser Handheld comes in two models with different laser output power: Agrilaser Handheld and Handheld 500. Choosing the right model is essential in order to generate a laser projection with sufficient contrast for effective bird dispersal.

Light conditions: A higher laser output power is recommended for use during bright light conditions.

Distance and beam angle: A higher laser output power balances out the loss of contrast due to spreading of the laser beam over a larger surface area.

Local environmental conditions (albedo): A higher laser output power is recommended for use in an environment with light absorbing surfaces.

Agrilaser® is ideal for repelling Canada Geese, Pigeons, Starlings, Seagulls, Crows, house Sparrows, Rooks and many other pest bird species.

Agrilaser's 2km range makes it ideal for use in repelling birds from any large open space both indoors and outdoors where conventional bird control methods would either be cost prohibitive or cause unacceptable disruption to commercial activities.

Due to advanced patented optical technology a laser beam is emitted which is optimized for bird repelling over a long distance.

In cooperation with scientists and Delft University the Agrilaser® Handheld was developed to be the ultimate remedy against bird problems. Birds perceive the green laser beam as a physical danger which is coming towards them. The only alternative to avoid being hit is flying away.

This is the same reflex when birds fly away when a car approaches. The Agrilaser® Handheld appeals to the survival instinct of the bird. Unlike conventional methods of deterrence birds will not get used to the laser beam of the Agrilaser® Handheld and will always be repelled. After systematic use, the birds will consider the field on which the Agrilaser® Handheld is used as unsafe and will not return.

Agrilaser® uses green laser technology with a reach of more than 2,000 meters.

Unlike conventional methods of deterrence, birds will not get used to the constantly moving laser beam of the Agrilaser®.

The Agrilaser® is most effective during sunrise and sunset and in overcast, rainy or foggy weather conditions. Its effectiveness can bec reduced in bright sunny conditions.

The Agrilaser® is best used to disrupt roosting birds at dawn, dusk and during nightfall.
