The 4-Speaker Ultrasonic Bird Deterrent System provides an effective, humane solution for deterring pest birds and other unwanted animals from outdoor spaces. Using high-frequency ultrasonic and sonic sound waves, this advanced system disorients and irritates birds, encouraging them to move on without traps or chemicals.
Key Features:
- Dual-mode operation with ultrasonic (15-25kHz) and sonic (3-5kHz) frequencies.
- Multiple speakers cover larger areas, up to 10,000 sq. ft. (2,500 sq. ft. per speaker).
- Adjustable sound frequencies and volume to target specific species.
- Programmable sound delays and operating hours for optimal performance.
- Humane bird control solution with no traps or chemicals.
- Portable and mountable design for versatile use.
- Includes mounting hardware and instructions for easy setup.
Frequency Range:
- Ultrasonic: 15-25kHz (silent to humans).
- Sonic: 3-5kHz (audible to humans).
Sound Pressure:
- Ultrasonic: 95-102dB @ 1 metre.
- Sonic: 105-110dB @ 1 metre.
Coverage: Up to 10,000 sq. ft. (2,500 sq. ft. per speaker).
Power Requirements: 110/220VAC adapter.
Dimensions:
Control Unit: 9” x 9” x 5”.

PestFix also stock the Ultrasonic Audio Bird Deterrent System as a 1-speaker unit.
- Use the included hardware to mount the control unit to a stable vertical surface such as a wall, post, or other secure structure, ensuring a clear line of sight with the target area. For effective coverage, position the speakers centrally facing outward or in four outer locations directed outward to maximise sound exposure.
- Plug the power adapter into an outlet or connect the battery clips to a 12V battery (black to negative, red to positive). Ensure the cable is securely plugged into the power jack labeled POWER on the control unit's front panel. The power source is not designed to be weatherproof and should be placed in a weatherproof enclosure or indoors at all times.
- Place the speaker(s) on a pole or post, aimed directly at the target area. Ensure they are 1–3 feet above the crop or area to be covered.
- Adjust the Recordings, Mode Settings, Time Off Interval, Time of Operation, Random, and Speaker Operation switches to your preferences.
- Monitor performance and reposition the speakers as needed for maximum effectiveness. If you turn the unit off, wait at least 60 seconds before turning it back on. Ensure the cover is securely latched. Do not open the cover during rain or wet conditions to prevent water from damaging the unit.
Note: These are simplified instructions. Please refer to the full instructions included in the product for more detail.
Ultrasonic bird scarers emit a range of nature-recorded bird distress and predator calls, designed to confuse and scare away pest birds effectively. These devices perform best in enclosed or semi-enclosed spaces, where sound waves can reflect off walls or ceilings, amplifying their effectiveness. Ideal locations for use include parking structures, barns, and loading docks.
The adjustable frequency feature of the ultrasonic unit allows it to target various pests, including cats, rats, mice, and squirrels. However, it is important to note that the unit can only be set to repel one animal type at a time, as different species have distinct hearing ranges.
Legal Notice:
In the UK and EU, it is illegal to use sonic deterrents to disturb bats or deter them from roosting. Bats and their roosts are protected by law. If you are experiencing issues with bats, contact the Bat Conservation Trust for guidance.
By following these guidelines, you can use ultrasonic repellers effectively, humanely, and within the boundaries of the law.
