Neosorexa® Gold Ratpacks achieve superior control under a wide range of baiting conditions.
Neosorexa® Gold Ratpacks are a mixture of foraging grains and cut wheat contained within the rodent bait. It is the first rodent bait to use Fortec™ technology which improves the palatability for rats and mice, reducing rodents natural neophobia to the introduction of something new to their environment.
What is Fortec™?
Extensive foraging grain research and studies of rodent behavior have established an understanding of the key elements in food or feed that makes it appealing to rodents so that they eat more of it. Based on these insights BASF has developed and patented the Fortec™ technology which is built into Neosorexa® Gold Ratpacks and leads to significantly increased bait take.
Also, this considerably improves the likelihood of rats eating the rodenticide by making foraging grains more appealing to them. The key to the technology lies in making the added grains sufficiently different from the bulk of the rodent bait in size, shape, colour, smell, taste and texture. Also important is the amount and quality of grain in the rat bait and the subtlety of the bait flavour.
How to use Neosorexa® Gold Ratpacks
When signs of rats are seen, survey your premises inside and out to determine the extent and location of the rodent infestation.
PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Contains 0.05 g/kg (0.005% w/w) difenacoum
When any rodenticide is used, all label instructions must be read and precisely followed.
For Rat Control:
Directions for Use:
Thoroughly survey the infested area, particularly secluded and sheltered places in order to determine the extent of the infestation. Place Neosorexa Gold Ratpack baits throughout the infested area in tamper-proof bait boxes or at covered bait points. Use bait containers clearly marked “Poison” or “Rodenticide” or “Rodent Bait” at all surface baiting points. The prevention of access by non-target animals is a priority. Baits must be securely deposited in a way so as to minimise the risk of consumption by other animals or children. Where possible, secure baits so that they cannot be dragged away. The product must never be placed indiscriminately. Rodent death will occur 4-10 days after ingestion of a lethal dose which may take two or more feeds.
Place up to 200 g of the Neosorexa® Gold Ratpacks bait every 5 to 10 meters in dry locations within the infested area, near burrows, on runways and where rat droppings have been seen. Rat poison must be covered to prevent access by children, animals or birds. The bait should be placed in tamper resistant bait stations or covered and protected bait points.
For control of Rats:
Do not move or disturb bait points for several days after laying bait. If no signs of rat activity are seen near the bait after 7-10 days move the bait to an area of higher activity. If a bait point is completely consumed, increase the amount of bait. Replace any bait eaten by rodents or that has been damaged by water or contaminated by dirt. In sewers bait should be placed in a way to protect from flooding or displacement.
Make frequent inspections of the bait points during the first 10 days and replace any bait eaten by rodents or that has been damaged by water or contaminated by dirt. Repeat treatment in situations where there is evidence of new infestation. Unless under the supervision of a pest control operator or other competent person, do not use anticoagulant rodenticides as permanent baits.
