What does Sorexa® D control?
Throughout the UK, the house mouse loses heat very easily and usually lives in buildings and structures which protect it from the cold & wet. Although in drier, warmer weather and in locations with hot climates, it may remain exclusively out of doors and be found away from buildings. It lives and breeds anywhere which can provide the three essentials for survival - food, water and suitable harbourage. This includes garden sheds and other small discreet areas.
The ultimate canary seed bait for mouse control. Advanced formulation of the mouse’s favourite food for maximum uptake in any situation with active mould protection for extended efficacy. Special impregnation process ensuring thorough difenacoum distribution throughout the seed, with less than half a gram typically required to deliver a lethal dose.
FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Contains 0.05 g/kg (0.005% w/w) difenacoum
Directions for Use
Thoroughly survey the infested area, particularly secluded and sheltered places in order to determine the extent of the infestation. Place Sorexa D baits throughout the infested area in tamper-proof bait boxes or at covered bait points.
Place up to 30g of Sorexa D mouse bait every 1-2 meters, checking bait frequently over first 10-days and regularly as consumption continues.
The prevention of access by non-target animals is a priority. Baits must be securely deposited in a way so as to minimise the risk of consumption by other animals or children. Where possible, secure baits so that they cannot be dragged away. The product must never be placed indiscriminately. Death of mice will occur 4-10 days after ingestion of a lethal dose which may take two or more feeds.
Inspect baits regularly and replace eaten or contaminated bait. If a bait point is completely consumed, increase the amount of bait. Search for and remove dead rodents at frequent intervals during treatment, at least as often as when baits are checked and/or replenished. Daily inspection may be required in some circumstances. Dispose of dead rodents and unused bait as described in the ‘Storage and Disposal’ section.
